Dead Sea, Israel

Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and the West Bank and Israel to the West.

Dead Sea’s surface lies 430 feet below sea level making it’s shore the lowest point on earth.

It is very saline which is around 9.6 times as salty as any ocean making it world’s saltiest lake.

Density of the water is also high which makes swimming similar to floating.

The one sad thing to note is that the Dead Sea is shrinking in size day by day due to various reasons
